Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 through 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.



 



 Prior to her positions at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. From March through October 2018, Nauert worked as acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy under the Trump administration. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, and the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
