Heather Locklear
Heather Deen Locklear (born September 25, 1961) is an American actress, best known for her character Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993-1999) and for which she won four consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. She is also known for her role as Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty from 1981 to 1989. This was her first major television role which sparked a long-running partnership with producer Aaron Spelling.
Other notable TV performances include Officer Stacy Sheridan in T. J. Hooker (1982-1986) and Caitlin Moore's character on Spin City (1999-2002), in which she was nominated for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. In 2013, she played the main character on T.V. Land's sitcom Hot in Cleveland, and an important role in TNT's drama-comedy TV show Franklin and Bash. Her film credits include the science-fiction drama Firestarter (1984) and the action-packed comedy Money Talks (1997), the live-action/animated comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) and the romantic comedy The Perfect Man (2005).
